Cost, Payment & Insurance

Yes. After your examination you receive a clear, written estimate before any treatment begins — with no hidden charges.

Cost depends on the materials used, how complex the case is and how many visits it needs. Where possible, we explain options at different price points so you can choose.

We believe in transparent, upfront pricing. Speak to our front desk about the payment options available for your treatment.

Our front desk can guide you through insurance claims for eligible treatments. Bring your policy details and we'll help you check what's covered.

Consultation charges are shared upfront when you book. Ask our front desk about any current offers for new patients.

Pain, Comfort & Anxiety

Most treatments are done under local anaesthesia, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. Our focus is comfortable, pain-free dentistry — many patients are surprised how easy it is.

Dental anxiety is very common, and you're in safe hands. We explain every step before we start, go at your pace, and you can ask for a break at any time.

We apply a numbing gel first and give the injection slowly, so most people feel only a slight pinch — or nothing at all.

Usually 2–4 hours. Avoid chewing on that side or drinking very hot drinks until the feeling returns, so you don't bite your cheek or burn your mouth.

Mild soreness for a day or two is normal and settles with a simple painkiller. If pain is severe, keeps increasing or comes with swelling, call us right away.

Dental Implants

It depends on the implant system and your bone condition. After an examination and scan, Dr. Praveen Kumar gives you a clear, itemised estimate before any treatment begins.

The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, so you won't feel pain. Most patients manage the next day or two comfortably with routine painkillers.

With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, implants commonly last 15–20 years and often a lifetime.

Age alone isn't a barrier. What matters is your general health, healthy gums and enough jawbone — many seniors get implants successfully.

In some cases a temporary tooth can be fitted soon after the implant is placed. It depends on your bone quality — Dr. Praveen Kumar will advise what's right for you.

Root Canal & Toothache

Not with modern techniques. The tooth is completely numbed first, and most patients say it feels much like having a filling done.

Most root canals are completed in one or two sittings, depending on the tooth and how severe the infection is.

Usually yes, especially for back teeth. A crown protects the treated tooth from cracking and helps it last for years.

Yes. Pain disappearing can mean the nerve has died, but the infection is still there and can spread. Get the tooth checked as soon as possible.

Painkillers only mask the pain for a while — they don't treat the cause. A toothache usually means decay or infection that needs proper treatment.

Braces & Aligners

On average 12 to 24 months, depending on how much correction is needed. Mild cases can finish sooner.

Both work very well. Braces suit almost every case, while aligners are near-invisible and removable. After examining your teeth, we'll recommend the best option for you.

Absolutely — there's no upper age limit. Many of our orthodontic patients are adults.

Around age 7 is ideal for a first check. Treatment itself usually starts between 11 and 14, once most permanent teeth have come in.

Yes. A retainer holds your teeth in their new position and stops them drifting back — it's what protects your result.

Whitening, Veneers & Smile Design

Yes, when done under dental supervision. We control the gel strength and timing and protect your gums throughout.

Typically 6 months to 2 years, depending on your habits. Coffee, tea, tobacco and red wine make stains return faster.

Veneers are thin shells that cover only the front of a tooth to improve its look. Crowns cover the whole tooth and are used when a tooth is weak or badly damaged.

Often, yes. Small gaps can usually be closed with veneers or tooth-coloured bonding. Larger gaps may need braces or aligners.

It's a personalised, digitally planned makeover that combines treatments like whitening, veneers or aligners — designed around your face, with a preview before we start.

Kids' Dentistry

By their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits help children feel comfortable and let us spot problems early.

Yes. Milk teeth hold space for permanent teeth and help with chewing and speech. Untreated cavities can cause pain, infection and problems with the adult teeth.

Limit sugary snacks and drinks, brush twice a day with an age-appropriate fluoride toothpaste, avoid bedtime milk bottles, and keep up six-monthly checkups.

It's normal in young children, but if it continues beyond about age 4–5, it can affect how the teeth and jaw develop. We can suggest gentle ways to help.

Yes. Our team includes pedodontist Dr. Rahul Singh, who specialises in gentle, child-friendly dental care.

Oral Hygiene & Prevention

Twice a day for two minutes, with a fluoride toothpaste — and always last thing before bed.

A soft-bristled brush is best. Hard bristles and aggressive brushing can wear away enamel and push back your gums.

Yes. A brush can't reach between your teeth, where many cavities and gum problems begin. Floss or use interdental brushes once a day.

Every six months for most people, along with a checkup. People with gum disease may need cleaning more often.

No. Mouthwash can freshen breath and add protection, but it can't remove plaque the way brushing and flossing do.

Sensitivity often comes from worn enamel, receding gums, a cavity or a cracked tooth. A sensitivity toothpaste can help, but get it checked to treat the cause.

Gum Problems & Bad Breath

Bleeding gums are usually an early sign of gum inflammation caused by plaque build-up. It's very treatable with professional cleaning and better home care.

Common causes are plaque, bacteria on the tongue, gum disease, a dry mouth or cavities. Most cases improve with cleaning and good oral hygiene.

No — this is a common myth. Scaling removes hardened tartar that causes gum disease. Any looseness is due to existing gum disease, not the cleaning.

Yes. Left untreated, gum disease can destroy the bone that holds teeth in place. Treating it early prevents this.

Extractions & Wisdom Teeth

When a tooth is too damaged or infected to save, severely loose, or causing crowding. We always try to save a tooth first where possible.

No. Wisdom teeth only need removal if they're impacted, causing pain, infections or damaging nearby teeth. We'll check with an X-ray.

Bite on the gauze for 30–45 minutes, avoid spitting, straws and smoking for 24 hours, eat soft cool foods, and take medicines as prescribed.

The gum usually heals within 1–2 weeks. The bone underneath continues to heal over the following weeks.

Usually yes — a gap can cause neighbouring teeth to shift and affect your bite. Implants, bridges and dentures are all options.

Fillings, Crowns & Dentures

Typically 7–10 years, depending on the filling size and how well you look after your teeth.

An implant doesn't need neighbouring teeth to be trimmed and protects the jawbone. A bridge is quicker and works well if nearby teeth already need crowns. We'll explain both options.

Yes. Small chips can be repaired with tooth-coloured bonding, while larger breaks may need a crown. The sooner it's treated, the better.

Most people adjust within a few weeks. Start with softer foods and practise speaking aloud to adapt faster.

Dental Emergencies

Severe toothache, facial swelling, a knocked-out or broken tooth, bleeding that won't stop, or a lost crown or filling causing pain.

Hold it by the crown, not the root. Rinse it gently, and try to place it back in the socket — or keep it in milk. Get to a dentist within an hour for the best chance of saving it.

Swelling usually means infection and needs prompt attention. Call us right away, and avoid putting heat on the swelling.

Call us on +91-6204522473 and we'll do our best to see you the same day.
